SOS Children’s Villages Tunisia recently opened the new administrative headquarters of SOS Children’s Village Gammarth at 19 Slimane Rezgui Street, El Menzah 9, Tunis. The new location is intended to make communication easier for families, partners and donors, and to strengthen the association’s presence in the capital.
SOS Children’s Village Gammarth currently supports and accompanies 4,135 children and young people who have lost family support or are at risk of losing it.
The opening of this modern facility, located closer to beneficiaries, forms part of a strategic shift towards family-based care integrated into the community, rather than the traditional residential model within the village. This approach seeks to combat stigma and all forms of discrimination against children.
