More Than 10,000 Children and Young People Supported During the 2026/2027 Back-to-School Season

SOS Children’s Villages Tunisia supported 10,807 children and young people at all education levels during the 2026/2027 back-to-school season by providing school supplies, educational materials and other essential support.

The programme, with a budget of TND 5.953 million, covered school bags, stationery, books, clothing and level-specific educational needs.

Support continues throughout the year through transport assistance, tutoring, and sports and cultural activities. These efforts contributed to an overall academic success rate of 87%, including 70% in the Baccalaureate examination and 78% at university level. The association currently supports more than 11,000 beneficiaries across Tunisia, with offices in 12 governorates. By the end of 2026, it aims to reach 12,000 beneficiaries and extend its presence to 14 governorates.
