During their annual meeting in Tunisia, the Chairs of the Boards and National Directors of 28 SOS Children’s Villages associations from West, Central and North Africa (WCNA) adopted the “Tunis Declaration”, setting strategic priorities for the next three years.
The Declaration focuses on six areas: strengthening governance structures, improving financial autonomy, enhancing programme effectiveness, reinforcing regional coordination, establishing follow-up mechanisms and advocating for greater international support for child protection in the region.

Through these commitments, member associations aim to increase their impact, improve governance and strengthen cooperation in support of children who have lost parental care or are at risk of losing it.
